The use of space and motion in illustration - The CreativeMindClass Blog
Since the moment I was a kid I've always been drawn to paint and working with my hands. It's always been my most natural method to express my personality. But growing as a child in Taiwan and pursuing an artistic career was seen as something negative and was often advised by elders to take up in more practical fields or I'd end being starving when I walked the streets.
It's a great blessing that my mother has always been a strong advocate for me to pursue whatever I've always wanted and done everything in her power to assist me in achieving my objectives. As I moved back to America, United States and finishing high school, I made the decision that I wanted to go into the field of art as a profession.
I was accepted into ArtCenter College of design, in the field of Illustration, with the goal of pursuing a career in the feature animation field. In the process, I came across motion graphics and was enthralled by their expressiveness and the stunning work produced by those I admire.

What do you think of the way you dress?
It's still on finding an aesthetic that I'm able to identify as my own personal. It's a common thing for me to want to try new things every so often... A month in a row, I'll find myself drawn to doing extremely colorful items. Soon I'll explore more naturalistic colours; I'll become enthralled by a particular form of vehicle for a few months before, next few days, I'll get tired of it and would want to try a style that's inspired by the lines.
Sometimes, I'll attempt to mix two things that I find intriguing like I'm on an endless quest to learn and discover. However, after a bit of dabbling occasionally, I'm beginning realize the specific designs, colors, or patterns that I'm drawn by. Could this be the beginning of an aesthetic?
That's a big reasons why I am so happy being here at Oddfellows Sometimes I find it difficult to believe that I'm blessed to work with an awesome group of people. In the workplace, we are able to alter our style from project to project. Almost every project involves different ways of working which is why I am constantly learning new things by my fellow workers every day.
What's the secret to making the best illustrations?
I enjoy drawing illustrations on subjects I'm interested in or am interested in, then try to add my own twist to it.
But most importantly I like to have amusement. It is the key ingredient to make something, people can determine if a person has fun doing some thing... it adds that shine.
While fighting the pandemic, and watched my fellow colleagues and our team doing their best to aid those in need In the end, I decided to create a Patreon named Joy&Frens which gives 50 percent of its profits to the charity the patrons select. Here, I publish Tips & Tricks, process videos, and invite my friends to collaborations as well as share their knowledge.
I also show my work as well on Instagram along with my Instagram account as well as on my website.
