It's SM3jRQiNmjMsiju3Fd Keith Andrade, founder of The Morning Byte

"One of my passions is keeping myself up-to-date with all the latest developments which is happening within the technology and business world," starts Keith Andade who has worked in software as services (SaaS) for seven years.

He attended Baruch College, a business school in Manhattan While he was at Baruch College, he picked up a lot about business to dovetail with his passion for technological advancement. "The two go hand-in-hand," he discovered. " Today's businesses have to depend on technology to be successful, to grow and scale. It was interesting to realize how these things work together."

Following college, he was employed at a health insurance and payroll company. "Previously the only thing that was available were papers and pens, as well as filing cabinets. Then, this company was totally disrupting the business," he recalls.

In the following years, he was employed by monday.com as well as ones.com, selling project management software to businesses. "I enjoyed it. However, I discovered that in order to conduct a productive conversation with my customers I had to be able to do more than be able to just comprehend technology, but simply understand how their business works, but also stay updated on the latest developments."

Keith used to spend his free time scouring the internet and finding articles, and sending them to friends and family. "I thought, 'I can't just keep delivering them content every day about something that I find interesting'. So I created this service for news texts to give a quick update of the latest news." He built an automation with Zapier along with ChatGPT to help find his favorite articles, rewrite them into concise bullets, and then send them as an SMS message to his customers," Keith explains.

The problem with social media

"Our clients love social media. Everyone does - it's that instant gratification" Keith continues. The problem with social media is that it winds up taking up too much amount of time. You may use TikTok to get brief news updates, or you may utilize Instagram and follow your favorite influencer to see a carousel pictures of events however the problem is that whenever you launch an app you're exposed to different opinions and ideas that appear automatically in your newsfeed."

Keith believes that one of the benefits that comes from The Morning Byte is it removes any intrusion of other content which are competing for your focus. "It's an SMS message that You can access it at any time you'd like. This is the freedom you have again," he explains.

Some readers look at it first thing in the morning, while others skim over it at lunchtime. "The notion is that you're in charge of the attention you pay. When you're on social media, it's up to you to cut through the noise to find what you want. Social media can be a time suckers and is a waste of your time. And time is the most precious thing we can have." Keith adds.

He continues that social media has no incentive to improve our lives. "It's wonderful to stay connected, but it's no longer solely about staying connected, right?" he asks. "I check my newsfeed with all the ads or it's businesses paying for their posts."

Before he came up with the business plan for Morning Byte Morning Byte, he noticed an additional customer, The New Paper, did something similar however, it was in the realm of politics. Keith realized a potential.

"I think there's a lot of value for people who work in tech. Professionals, such as realtors need to know how AI technology impacts their daily lives." Keith thought he could help them stay in the forefront of technology. "If you're a podcaster It's like 'Do I really need a new microphone?' or 'Is there an application that could help me make my voice sound clear What are the things that people are asking themselves because there's a new AI software being released each day."
