The family is a creative one for artist and illustrator Kentaro Yoshida. His mother, too an artist has been an influence on his artwork but she hasn't always been on board of his professional decision-making. "First she wasn't the biggest supporter of me being an artist that was working full-time. She probably knew how hard it is, from her experience. Yet, I chose to try and succeeded," Kentaro says. "She is certainly the main source of motivation in my life."

Kentaro was born in a fishing town in Toyama, Japan, but moved to Australia at the age of 18 and the current residence is Sydney. Prior to that, Kentaro has developed an impressive freelance position working as an artist. His services include artworks that are custom painted, surfboards. He also collaborates with famous brand names and artists.
