Many kids have their first entrepreneurial ventures by selling treats to neighbors, Morgan Hipworth took his young interest in food to the next step. The young founder behind popular Australian bakery Bistro Morgan was able to develop an appreciation for food by watching cooking shows at about 7 years of age.

"I saw other youngsters watching on television pursuing their goals and I realized, "If they're able to do it, I can achieve it,'" Morgan says. Then he put his faith into action "Each weekend, I would cook three courses for my parents and family and serve my food in my family's dining room," he says. "I later extended my customer base to the extended family, providing freshly baked treats at birthdays and other occasions." At age 13, he was encouraged to bring samples to a local cafe--and became solely accountable for the cafe's supply of bakery goods and desserts.

Let your customers be part of your brand story

"Being able to tell an engaging story that really brings customers along for the ride has always been an integral aspect of building a client base," he says. "Connection is the top importance, and it's the key to turning a single customer into a loyal customer that will stay with you throughout the years."
