"I have always been a fan of fashion. Therefore, as I entered college I was determined to learn about it and become a an industry participant," she says. "But when I was in school I noticed that there were a lot of problems in fashion that weren't being addressed with the planet and the people in mind. It was clear that if I ever wanted to be a part of the fashion business I had to make sure that those values were always prominent in what I did."
