A website domain is the unique URL you type into your browser in order to access a specific web page. A website URL has a number of parts:

Schema or protocol

Subdomain

Domain name or second-level domain

Top-level domain (TLD)

Subdirectory path or page URL

A majority of users will be paying attention to your domain name, their pages, and TLD. The domain name is the distinctive identifier of your site ("" within .com), whereas the TLD is the domain extension (like .com, .net, or .org), and your page path will be a page on your website (like "/blog" in .com/blog).
