Rio Vera-Newton gave tips on skin care when she wrote her work for decades. "The beauty and cosmetics industry especially the skincare sector, is saturated. In 2017, an event that went viral brought this information to a larger audience than ever before. Rio shared an overview of her daily routine for skin care following an breakout of acne which was shared by her friends and then eventually made it to New York Magazine. Since since the time, Rio has gone to the esthetician school, created the company of experts in skin care and released a piece on the topic.

From viral, to the business plan
Rio's breakout routine of skincare was a start and a great start, but turning that moment into an opportunity took a long and more nerve-wracking journey.
"When I finished my studies at the schools of estheticians I realised that I had a desire to start a company that was more personal and individual," Rio says. "I was scared by the thought of losing my entire life like I imagine that a majority of people do when they begin any venture."
"When I started my first project I wanted to be sure I'd structured my consultancy so that it could be as efficient as it was possible that's why I offered around 20 consultations gratis to members of my circle before launching my business. Then, I asked them to give me feedback," she adds. "Because that I thought about it I was able to get rid of any wrinkles before I could get the first couple of customers who paid. This was crucial, as it meant that, when I finally was able to go live with the business was in position to acquire a wealth of knowledge and was able to launch my venture fully confidently."
