Five reasons why you should join our New Slack Community: Global SaaS experts *

Mar 23, 2022

The version that is The TL;DR version of this article reads as follows:

  • Just recently, we created a brand-new (free!) Slack community: Global SaaS Leaders.
  • The job is available to the top executives of well-established SaaS and software companies (including founders! ).

We're launching a brand new, free Slack group

Because the community is amazing!

No, seriously.

Yes, there are others SaaS and communities that are software-based around the world. Some of them are great.

However, when we considered making the kind of community that uslike to join there was a chance to develop something completely new.

We designed Global SaaS Leaders as a place with five distinctive characteristics:

1. Global perspective

There were many SaaS and software community that were U.S.-based or centered on a particular location.

Global SaaS Leaders will be diverse. It could be located in the U.S., but our customers and the general SaaS community is spread out all over the globe..

As we grow the community as we grow, our focus will shift to getting a broad membership as well as an international perspective.

2. The style is targeted at the top executives of long-standing SaaS and software companies

One of the most engaging chats that we have seen online revolved around the idea of starting an entirely brand new SaaS company.

Discussions such as this can be helpful for anyone who is looking to get started building a SaaS.

In the end, we discovered that it was difficult to find helpful conversations between the leaders of well-established software and SaaS businesses.

That's why we've decided to create the community for SaaS entrepreneurs thinking about expanding and scaling up the size of an established software business instead of constructing the most feasible product or seeking out seed funding.

If you're a lifestyle entrepreneur with a self-funded SaaS that is currently earning 10,000 dollars monthly, we'd love to get you connected with other entrepreneurs who have similar goals to yours.

As if you were the director of development in a venture-backed firm which recently crossed 10 million dollars per year.

We will focus on that in Global SaaS Leaders: to create a space that you can share the specific challenges you face after you've reached the level of product-market-fit, and are able to expand.

3. Professionally moderated

It takes a dedicated and skilled moderator (or an entire group of moderators!) for a welcoming, welcoming culture within a community.

We've accumulated a wealth of information through the Reddit community r/entrepreneur, as an example.

Yet even the most reputable communities such as this can have a difficult time gaining attention. It's fascinating that. The top thread in the year a combative post about how cryptocurrency has been overwhelming the newsfeed:

Katie Stephan and Nathan Collier (authors of this piece!) is the initial moderation team as we launch the Global SaaS Leaders community.

Collectively, we've been spending more than 10 years in the business in moderating communities online that have thousands of users.

Furthermore, building and launching this community is one of the job description.

The conversation will remain solely focused on SaaS and software and we'll ensure that you're not faced with unwelcome offers, spam as well as personal attacks. Trolling of all kinds.

4. It is not exclusively focussed on Venture Capital or funding rounds.

Whatever your circumstance is, we'll take care. bootstrapped, venture-funded, private-equity bought, or any other ownership structure.

The Global SaaS Leaders won't be a event that is primarily concerned with financing round or strategies for exit.

We would rather provide the opportunity for discussions about revenue, hiring profits, and tools, pricing strategies, the technological infrastructure and anything else that can contribute to the success of a software company.

It's okay for members to regularly discuss financing. It shouldn't be the the only discussion.

5. The most helpful SaaS and software communities online

Certain online communities can be extremely dangerous.

Whatever you're doing, no matter where your origins are and where is your background, we'd love that you feel at ease sharing your thoughts and engaging in our community online.

Katie me along with Katie are going to do all we can in order to build positive and supportive societies with this fresh one. And we will not tolerate any individuals' attacks, bigotry, racism, sexism, or any other disrespectful conduct.

Our goal is nothing anything less than to build the most helpful SaaS and software community on the web.

How can you join to the Global SaaS Leaders Community

We are aware that it is a lengthy registration form, but we use this information to verify the integrity of our community as well as to filter out likely spammers.
