Pretzel Dip Recipes

There is certainly no shortage of delicious pretzel dips. Here's our favorite recipes including 10 pretzel dip recipes worth trying repeatedly.

Traditional Pretzel Mustard

There are only five ingredients from creating this incredible mustard dip, which we promise to be your go-to for pretzels when they're on the menu. Mix 1/4 cup of mayonnaise with 1/4 cup of yellow or Dijon mustard. Then, mix 2 tablespoons of minced onion and one tablespoon ranch seasoning mix and two and a quarter teaspoons horseradish. Mix thoroughly, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Once that's done, get ready to dip (and dip and dip and dip ...).

Spicy Mustard for Pretzels

If you prefer your pretzel mustard to be a bit spicier, we recommend this hot and spicy mustard which gets an additional spice thanks to Frank's RedHot and cayenne pepper. Modify as needed to amp up the spice to where you like it.

Homemade Hummus

Spinach Artichoke Pretzel Dip

What's warm and gooey and an easy dip to dip pretzels? Spinach artichoke dip of course. There are a ton of variations, but we like the recipe baked which gets a boost of creaminess due to the addition of not one, not two, but three varieties of cheeses in addition to cream cheese as well as sour cream.

Are you looking to make your meal additional? Make a mix of your spinach artichoke dip ingredients to stuff them into a pretzel dough that you make yourself, then shape and bake. There's a chance you'll never go back to regular pretzels.

German Beer Cheese Dip (Obatzda)

Pretzels are an iconic German staple, so it is only natural to dip them into an equally iconic German dip. On the menu: Obatzda, a cheesy spread that is made from ripe camembert, spices, and two tablespoons of good wheat beer. The dip should chill for at the least one time in the fridge, for the dip to set, then grab some German pretzels and take a bite to enjoy.

Dill Pickle Dip

Creamy Carrot Dip

This sweet carrot dip is full of Asian flavour because of white miso rice vinegar, sesame oil as well as mirin. The main ingredients are carrots and chickpeas, it's a dip that's healthy and delicious even though it tastes delicious. Serve it with pretzels and crudite as a snack option which doubles as a healthy meal.

Caramelized Onion Dip

Prepare a rich onions caramel dip to serve with your pretzels and then try to keep yourself back from eating all of it. (Just kidding--we firmly approve of finishing off this entire dip all in one go.) The recipe is extremely easy to make but the most complex step being to caramelize the onions until they are perfect prior to adding them into the mixture.

Tips: Avoid the temptation to supervise your caramelized onions. You don't want to mix them often as that can prevent you from getting them to that rich golden brown that you've been looking for.

Sweet Cream Cheese Dip

It's impossible to create the pretzel dips without including something sweet. The sweet cream cheese dip is what dreams of desserts are made from. If you'd prefer to go more sweet, add caramel drizzle or add fresh chopped strawberries or pineapple for a fresh twist.
