Through exercises that are experiential, Jo coaches mainly actors and artists of all kinds as well as non-artist "seekers" in how to find their calm and to be their best true self. By doing this, performers will stop acting and become performing and eventually becoming. "I would like to think of myself as an acupuncturist more than a teacher because I assist people in returning to their true self and be renewed," she explains.

She believes that the effectiveness of an actor depends on their fulfillment and ability to dedicate themselves fully to the role they are playing. "When the character is being defended in full, the story and people watching are affected," she explains.

She conducted her own research

Jo is a novel approach to getting into acting.

Born in Belgium Her home was Belgium. She completed her MBA prior to concentrating on the field that dealt with human resource management, as well as the field of systemic psychology. In the following years, she was involved in corporate coaching. "The workplace never seemed like my thing," she shares. "I took the decision to leave everything, relocate to Paris to start over. ."

One of the main reasons she decided to make a change was the desire to try acting, something she had always wanted to do. She was a dedicated, passionate person, and put all of her efforts and effort into acquiring the necessary skills for becoming the most effective actress she could be.

Despite her dedication to her job, she says she was an excellent actor but not a star actor. As with others, she was plagued by fears of the stage. "Most of my colleagues in the acting field had similar struggles," she says. "We were all passionate, but when it was our turn to play the role the part, we were terrified. ."

The actress was curious to know what had stopped her and others, from being great actors. "My interest became an obsession" she says. "I was interested in knowing what drives actors to be committed and focused when it's time to act ."

In the following years, she studied how actors might feel stifled. Her study led to the conclusion that while children are playing, they're in control. However, when adults are having fun it's as if they're losing their independence due to the social rules. "When I realized that I devoted the next part of my life helping actors unlearn their conditioning to allow them to perform and show their true selves with that childlike energy that they used to have," explains Jo.

She started coaching

Jo's research experience has led her to research various methods of somatic therapy and practices which she then tried out with clients in both group and private coaching in the beginning of 2000. Later on, Jo named her company To be Or Not To Act.

The people whom she worked with were not able to demonstrate accountability. "No regardless of how committed my colleagues were, they did not be able to turn every day. Even though we had meetings every three days during the week however, there wasn't accountability in between sessions. It was possible for people to drop the ball with no problem if they were not with me," Jo says. Jo.

She decided that online courses will help students stay in line in their daily routine. She refers to her online courses as a series as "journeys," and the initial journey that she guides people through will be The Reset: From Resistance to Freedom. It was developed by her in the year 2014. "I created The Reset so that I could assist people for the entire period of 33 days," she explains.
"Since it is accessible online the users are able to access the site at their own speed and establish their own schedule."

Jo is of the belief that humans were born with an authentic nature, but societal conditioning asks that we behave, think, and feel according to a certain way. According to Jo The goal of The Reset is for people to perform daily exercises which help them shed their conditioned behavior and revert to their original instincts. Everyday within The Reset, Jo offers recordings of her exercises. Additionally, she offers two Q&As and two working in groups via pods as well as a semi-Q&A where she responds to questions that are frequently requested in her private Facebook group.

The ability to alter the duration of web-based experience allows for members of Jo's to take part in classes anytime of the day; when they awake or before going to sleep, or any time they are able to. "The most appealing aspect is the fact that they are able to make it work within their timeframes," she explains.

Her online business was launched which gave her the flexibility to have a flexible lifestyle

When Jo initially began her site Reset journey the first time, she could log every single session held through her site. Then, in the years that followed, she decided to switch over to Reset following Reset advice from her mentor. "You know the things you're doing. I don't" she smiles.

In the last few years, since she entered the coaching industry online Jo's life has been transformed. The time she conducted the interview, she called from the hospital, where she spent time together with her child. "Eight years ago, my daughter was born with a genetic spectra this is why she has to undergo hospitalization every month" she says.

" It lets me become a mother and take charge of my life while keeping a business running--even during my hospital stay because my daughter needs regular blood transfusions" she says. "Working online lets me take care for my daughter how I'd like and be close to her. I can go to hospital to treat medical conditions and yet pursue a job I'm passionate about, and without stress ."

The subsequent trips were her own creations.

If people have completed The Reset, they have the option of taking part in an intensive three-month program called The Purposeful Actor. The Purposeful Artist journey is a 3-hour class for 12 weeks. "The people who take this class are more autonomous with regards to responsibility and are able to show the self-respect they deserve. There are certain routines they must accomplish every day but they're not dependent on me to accomplish their tasks. They must consider their own goals and that's is the goal." Jo writes.

Jo will also be offering Q&A sessions during her Purposeful Actor Journey that occur every 3 weeks. When people are done with the purposeful journey and are now ready, they can opt to sign up for one year-long membership known as BAMF Actors In Action, that is short for Bad-Ass Mom F***king Actors In Action. "I have created this membership in order to assist people who have completed these two walks and who wanted to continue working on the path," she says.

The membership program has been operating for four years. The program is based around content each month, as well as group activities via weekly pods, every month, Q&A with Jo the host, as well as an all-day summit every three months. "The Membership allows members to determine the best way to go out into the world and do what they're meant to be doing. It also allows them to connect with the industry, create the content they want to create, and push the limits of the instrument they use," she explains.

She worked with musicians of different kinds.

According to Jo Jo, the vast majority clients she has worked with in her sessions are actors. But there are other types of artists, such as dancers, writers, storytellers as well as singers. There are people who "want to shed their conditioning," such as mothers and professionals like professional athletes, television hosts and therapists. "Freedom is a concern to everyone who wishes to be fully expressed," she says.

Since the journeys are offered in English and in English, they draw people around the world. "We are a diverse group of people, from every continent, but most of us are from America, Europe, and Australia," she shares.

A majority of her audiences are older than 20 to 50. Also, there are people who have reached their third stage of life join, and it's not typical to find her welcoming people in their 70s and the 80s on her travels.

The client let her handle the talking

In relation to the marketing of her journeys, Jo says the word was propagated through the power of word of.

Her homepage is on her site, she's added an online testimonial reel. This provides proof of social status and boosts the credibility of her work. Visitors to the website can subscribe to the monthly email newsletter that she posts through her website. In order to collect emails and leads, she offers two complimentary workshops to draw leads: Stop Trying To Be a Good Actor and offer yourself the possibility to be Excellent, and also the Instinctive Actor. Alongside helping her in collecting her people's details, they also provide people a taste of her style of coaching.

She also posts on her Instagram page which boasts more than 10,500 followers--and gets external press by interviews on numerous podcasts, blogs as well as in magazines.

She opted for a price which is reasonable.

Jo is determined to make her trips affordable for people, especially as actors typically be in a state of flux with their income. "If you attended the acting classes once a week, you'd pay around $300-$400. Most of the time that you'll be seated and watch other actors do scenes, and occasionally you'll be given the opportunity to take a turn" she explained.

"These on-line travel alternatives are significantly less costly," continues Jo. "The benefits of our trips is 10 times greater than what we sell them for ."

Resets are priced at less than $1,000 USD. The Purposeful Actor is priced at $1250 USD. The membership costs $270 USD each month.

She was at the peak of the genius

Despite being the company's chief executive officer To Be Or Not To Act, Jo is firm in her commitment to spend every minute she can in her area of excellence in coaching, and creating content. Jo doesn't think she's tech-savvy and would much rather stay "in the flow" working on the areas she is skilled at. "The rest of the tasks to manage a company, aren't an area I'm particularly interested in as this isn't my field of competence" she says.

Jo credits her success by employing a coach right from the beginning. At the end of the day, she was ready to create lasting journeys, she chose to try something new and enrolled in a class of $20k to help her achieve it. "It was a lot of work which is why I had take out a loan for half the money. However, I'm happy that I could do it," she shares.

She is convinced that anyone can create an online business that's prosperous. However, she warns you to be aware that it's not an easy job.

"It is a commitment and determination. It's equally essential to feel passionate about what you're doing. This is what I've done after changing jobs in my 20s and the way I'll continue to do it. My passion for it is the main reason why, whenever I'm faced with a challenge, I stick to it ."

Her inspiration came from her passion to design.

The author advises creators of online businesses to be realistic about the effort they'll need to create an online enterprise. She suggests you only take on the job in the event you believe the topic that you're discussing is near to their heart.

"The problem is now that once you sign up to the social networking sites, you'll realize that everyone's an expert and will be able to tell how simple it is to make millions in a matter of minutes and that's just not true," says Jo. "It is true that if something is that is dear to you it's possible to get the masses that are bigger than that of your neighbors. But it takes legwork, and it isn't easy falling down and rising. It takes getting coached and putting in your time and cash until the structure is constructed. ."

Like Jo Start an enterprise from the heart It will give you the strength to get through the tough moments.

"An online business doesn't only provide the opportunity to work for some money. It must be created by your heart, based on what that you're supposed to perform. In the event that you don't then you'll be thrown off the ball since it'll feel too hard." she shares.

"If you're truly serious, you'll be able tackle the task. If you're in the market to make a quick buck, it's not possible to undertake them. I suggest you apply what is very dear to you. You have to perform at the highest level when you work because there is a high level of competitors. You have to be able to be sure of the work you perform ."

She was true to her work

When asked the kind of courses we could see in 2024, Jo says Jo thinks there will continue to be an oversupply of programs online. Jo states that the most important difference in the "McDonald's" courses in addition to the "gourmet" courses will be courses that are made in a manner that's honest.

"When there's a surplus of something, you'll find two different types of jobs online. There will be McDonald's type courses, as well as gourmet courses that are of the highest quality. There will be plans to achieve something or the other with your life that won't come from a legitimate source. And then there are people who have had a go for many years." she explains.

In order to create the delicious style, it is recommended to get back to basics.

"There is a huge opportunity for those who are at heart and want to help others," she continues. "The individuals who need the help of your company will come across you. ."

"I'm grateful to which enables us to live our lives for what matters to us. It's incredible."
